TEARS OF LOVE

I'm weak from too much crying,
tired from so much trying,
aching from so much yearning,
unnerved from so much wanting,
and betrayed for so much loving.

I laid down my love like a bed,
stripped off my pride like a robe,
gave out my heart like a gift,
and yet she washed me off like dirts,
hated me so much it hurts,
yanked me off her life like a leech,
spilling blood from my heart with a gash.
with her voice so sweet coming out
through lips far from my reach,
she scorned me, mocked me, teased me
and rebuked me like a king to a slave.

Now my blood within my veins
Is as warm as tea in a kettle,
my heart is as solid as a pebble,
my life is as empty as a temple,
my emotions; torn between pain and sorrow,
my nights are filled with echoes of worries,
my pillow tastes salty from too many tears,
and my days now, is like a living hell of memories.
Memories mixed with joy and grieve.
I loved, and was never loved!
