No Amount of False Propaganda Will Bring Mahama Back to Power

The Mahama Energy Minister who recklessly engineered the botched and promptly abrogated Power Distribution Services (PDS) contract with the state-owned Electricity Company of Ghana was back at his old jaded game of feeding empty threats to Ghanaian citizens and the hard-at-work Akufo-Addo-led government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) again. But, of course, even as the astute and hard-hitting host of the “Mpu Ne Mpu” talking-heads program made it clear to Mr. John Jinapor, there is absolutely no way for a woefully underperformed Mahama Posse to cavalierly presume that they could bulldoze their way back to the Jubilee-Flagstaff House come January 2021 (See “We’ve Intercepted Damning Messages, Recordings; 2020 Is a Forgone Conclusion for Mahama – Jinapor” Peacefmonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 10/28/19).

Only a clinically troubled or mentally unhinged political scam-artist could so brazenly insult the intelligence of the Ghanaian electorate in the manner done by the Gonja-born relative of former President John Dramani Mahama, by presuming the Presidency in the aftermath of Election 2020 to be for the taking by the worst -performing leader of Ghana’s Fourth Republic. What is more, even the acclaimed Founding-Father of the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President Jerry John Rawlings, has gone public and into the record books as having disdainfully described his former Communications Minister of having run the most thoroughgoing corrupt regime in the postcolonial history of the country. Mr. Jinapor coyly appeared to clearly concede the common-knowledge truth that short of a protracted civil war, Mr. Mahama has absolutely no fighting chance in the 2020 Presidential Election.

Even though he smugly but visibly and bashfully claimed that he and his political scam-artist cronies of the National Democratic Congress possessed damning evidence pointing towards the rigging of next year’s general election in favor of the very progressive and visionary incumbent President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, nevertheless, Mr. Jinapor also clearly seemed to concede defeat when he also added that, “All we need [presently] is to [patiently] wait for [the leaders of the New Patriotic Party to] position Ghana in a way [such that] when President Mahama takes over on January 7, 2021, we can still [sic] grow this country.”

In other words, what the Mahama shill was clearly admitting but was characteristically rather too cowardly and dishonest to boldly affirm is the all-too-glaring and incontrovertible fact that under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ghana’s economy has witnessed a level of exponential growth that has never been witnessed under the megalomaniacal and grossly incompetent robber-barons of the National Democratic Congress, with President Akufo-Addo’s having foresightedly and indefatigably cleared the stygian sociocultural and economic mess and the unprecedentedly humongous magnitude of a combination of debt and theft bequeathed the incoming Nana Akufo-Addo by the outgoing Mr. John Dramani Mahama. Put more succinctly, if also in inexcusably exasperating terms, Mr. Jinapor appeared to be telling Ghanaians that the proverbial work-horse monkey that is the inimitably progressive and visionary leadership of the Akufo-Addo-led government of the New Patriotic Party has made the country prosperous and profitable again, so it is about time the National Democratic Congress’ leadership baboons prepared themselves to, once again, mercilessly cream or literally plunder the newly created wealth of the country once more.

This may very well be the sort of damning “secret information” that Mr. Jinapor and his robber-baron associates claim to have “intercepted” from the camp of the ruling New Patriotic Party. Someone from the executive arm of the government had better warn evidently suicide-prone political scumbags like Mr. Jinapor to watch their arsonist pronouncements or have themselves to blame in the long haul. You see, the good and hardworking Ghanaian citizens and people are not the least bit prepared to be callously and recklessly plunged back into the Dark Age of the Dumsornomic Mahama era and tenure, when prominent politicians and ordinary citizens got murdered left and right without receiving any legally and morally constructive and responsible answer from the Jubilee-Flagstaff House.
