Accra – December 18, 2018 – Strategic Communication Africa Ltd. (Stratcomm Africa), leading total communications company in Ghana has been awarded the 2017 Professional Services Provider of the Year by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) at its annual awards this year, recently organized at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
The GNCCI award scheme recognizes individuals and organizations which have distinguished themselves among their peers and the competition by producing clear value and compelling results.
The awards also celebrate the finest Ghanaian businesses that have demonstrated excellence in leadership and innovation in contributing to the socio-economic development of Ghana.
The theme for this year’s event was “Empowering the private sector to move Ghana Beyond Aid”
A citation accompanying the award celebrated among others, Stratcomm Africa’s customized and tailored measured solutions across diverse industry challenges. And also using advocacy as tool to address global warming and climate change, women empowerment, and usage of social media to address expansion of business. It further acknowledged the company’s promotion of horticulture through its Ghana Garden and Flower Show, and drawing millions closer to God through its annual Praise Jam.

Earlier in the same month, Stratcomm Africa’ s initiative the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement was adjudged the 2017 CSR Initiative of the Year by the Center for CSR, West Africa, at the Ghana CSR Excellence Awards held at the Marriott Hotel In Accra.
The award was in recognition of how Stratcomm Africa has grown the Garden and Flower Show and generated increased public awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. Stratcomm Africa also received an award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing this year.

The Ghana Garden and Flower Show is a flagship activity of the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement that was initiated by Stratcomm Africa with the first edition of the Show being held in August 2013. The Movement seeks to create awareness among Ghanaians about the commercial, aesthetic, health and psychological benefits of horticulture and floriculture. It seeks to celebrate Ghana’s unique flora and fauna, whilst pointing people to the income generating and job creation opportunities inherent in them.
