Right Reverend Doctor Paul Kwabena Boafo, Administrative Bishop of the Methodist Church- Ghana, has commended government for its efforts at promoting the partnership with stakeholders to promote education in the country.

He said there is the need for such partnerships to be strengthened in order to ensure better teaching and learning activities in all schools.

Rt. Rev. Boafo said this when he inaugurated a 9-Unit Complex school block for Rev. Wilson 'B' Methodist Basic School at Saltpond.

Dedicating the building estimated at GHȼ400,000.00 to the glory of God, he prayed God to keep the children under his fatherly care and protection.

The edifice which is to house K.G. 1 and 2, Junior High School pupils, I. C. T Laboratory, Head teacher's Office and a Staff Common Room was funded by members of the late Very Rev. Wilson 'A' (Senior) family with support from other donors including GHACEM Cement Foundation.

Rt. Rev. Boafo used the occasion to appeal to government to continue with the provision of infrastructures, teaching and learning materials and to provide better salaries and incentives to boast the efforts of teachers.

He also called on the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly to provide computers and other accessories needed to make I.C.T centre functional.

He later on behalf of the Methodist Church-Ghana donated five computers to the school.

Mrs Martha Acquah, Mfantseman Municipal Director of Education, expressed her appreciation to the family of the late Rev. Wilson B );
