Wassa Nkyiase (W/R), Jan 10, GNA - A misunderstanding that ensued between a man and his wife has resulted in the woman allegedly killing his 40 year-old husband at Wassa Nkyiase in the Wassa Amenfi East District.
The suspect, Victoria Amuzu, 27, is alleged to have hit the deceased, Kwame Niako with a wooden stool at the back of his head.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Superintendent of Police Daniel Amoako, District Police Commander in charge of Wassa Amenfi East, disclosed this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.
He said on January 10, around 7:30 am the couple had a misunderstanding and in the process the suspect allegedly picked a wooden stool and hit Niako on the head resulting in his death.
Superintendent Amoako said Victoria has since been arrested and detained and would be interrogated later.
