THE HYPOCRISY OF WESTERN POWERS IN EGYPT'S POLITICAL CRISIS.... ANY LESSON FOR AFRICANS ???

Feature Article THE HYPOCRISY OF WESTERN POWERS IN EGYPT'S POLITICAL CRISIS.... ANY LESSON FOR AFRICANS ???
JUL 14, 2013 LISTEN

When the Arab Spring earthquaked the very core of military and authoritarian governments, it toppled hell bent dictators like Colonel Gadafi of Lybia, Hosny Mubarak of Egypt, Ben Ali of Tunisia and the yet to be defeated Bashir Al Assad of the decaying Syria. It gave Africans a new sense of hope and perhaps an order of identity we all expected to follow............ 'Africans are simply tired of military and authoritarian leaders and only want to be ruled by leaders anointed by the ballot box.'

Mohamed Bouazizi, the renowned Tunisian who set himself on fire to begin the Arab Spring had only one aim, to be able to vote and elect his own president and leaders.

Perhaps Africans were only dreaming -big. In a continent hugely influenced and financially bankrolled by western powers our wishes are the command of western POWERS. It's a shame that a fully democratically elected president in the biggest country in the Arab region (Egypt) has cruelly and unconstitutionally been toppled yet the so called western powers, self-proclaimed originators and founders of multi-party democracy who eat, wine, bath breath, and s**t democracy have kept mute like blind and deaf political activists with no means to information acquisition on the on-going political turmoil in a once industrious, rich, beautiful and tourists bound Pharoah -land. Egypt is now worse than Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and even Syria because even in Syria it's an open battle between rebels and forces loyal to the Assad regime. In Egypt, the whole nation is on a national contest of confusion, because they know not what they want, neither are they aware of the enemy they are up against, because the enemy himself is the so called western, all knowing diplomatic angels inciting a nation against itself and yet pretending to be peace brokers.

The Pentagon, America's security headquarters have claimed to have been in contact with EGYPT'S military for weeks. The Egyptian military and economy receives over $1 billion military aid from the US annually and there is nothing that the Egyptian army does without approval from Washington. It's obvious who really masterminded the military COUP in Egypt which America and the west are hugely silent on. So far, only Germany has totally condemned the coup labelling it as "progress against democracy." America wanted democracy for Egypt, they voted and an Islamist government hugely spearheaded by the powerful muslin brotherhood won and America is totally unhappy that an Islamist government is in power. Can they really decide for Africans? Are Americans always supporting democracy in African countries when their political puppets who simply respond to their call with a simple "Yes sir" are in power? Are Muslim's not human's capable of managing a country?

Uhuru Kenyatta is the democratically elected president of Kenya but we all know how America and the west are harassing him with this International Criminal Court case just because their puppet Raila Odinga couldn't become president. Africa belongs to Africans and America and the west must allow Africans to take their destiny into their own hands. We are simply tired of western intervention in Africa's body- politicking.

America and the west are always supporting African politicians who reward their companies with huge contracts, provide them land for their meaningless military exercises and grant them total control over their oil. That's why heroes like Gadafi, Sadam Hussein, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Kwame Nkrumah were never friends to America nor the west.

They were branded as dictators, power-drunk, Jihadists, anti-west and all forms of adjectives in the dictionary simply because they refused to be influenced by America and the west. It's not just about Egypt, Lybia or Syria, Ghana and Nigeria are their next targets once the OIL keeps flowing.

Per America's foreign aid policy, any country under military dictatorship is denied access to it's foreign aid until it returns to civilian rule. Interestingly, America is still supporting Egypt when it is totally obvious that the current situation in Egypt is nothing less than a military coup. Shockingly, America and the west are doing everything possible to label the current crisis in Egypt as a civilian takeover, using their chief propaganda machinery the BBC and the CNN.

The whole world is watching Egypt with rapt attention as such, America and the west should dare not turn Egypt into another Iraq, Syria or Lybia because we in Africa are still proud of our beautiful Pharoah-land, the very home of ancient and modern civilization.

Let's arise to save Mama Africa.
