The Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Mrs. Justice Georgina Wood, today sworn in 15 new members of the National Media Commission in Accra. Mrs. Georgina Wood urged the members to continue with the good works of their predecessors to foster a vibrant media landscape. She congratulated the new members and urged them to work hard to promote good governance as well as a qualitative improvement of the Ghanaian media. The new members took the Oath of Office and the Oath of Allegiance. A member of the Commission, Rev. Fred Deegbe on behalf of his colleagues promised to do their best not only for the NMC but the media and the nation as a whole. Some members include Mr.Anthony Akoto-Ampaw of the Ghana Bar Association, Dr. Audrey Gadzekpo of the Training Institutions of Journalists and Communicators, Berfi Appenteng and Kabral Blay-Amihere of the Ghana Journalist Association.
