Mr. Frederic Noble Baada, Brong Ahafo Regional Librarian, has expressed regret about delay in the execution of the regional library complex project in Sunyani.
He told GNA in Sunyani on Friday that work on the library complex was brought to a stand still due to financial constrains, and appealed to government to provide funds for the completion of the project.
Mr Baada said that the project if completed would help ease pressure on the two libraries in the town and promote education in the area.
He said “ the adult and children libraries in Sunyani are unable to meet the increasing demand of users due to their limited capacities ” and appealed to the authorities to renovate the two facilities that had not undergone any serious rehabilitation for many years.
