Corporate Bodies Urged To Insure Staff

Privateand public corporate bodies in the country should secure life insurance product covers for their staff as a way of securing their interest and future.

“Life Insurance is one of the safest ways of safeguarding continued life for families who painfully lose dear ones and breadwinners to natural demand and should be handled with all seriousness.”

The Head of Marketing, Gemini Life Insurance, Mr Emmanuel Edor, gave the advice when he handed cheques totalling GH¢23,307 over to dependants and families of two desceased staff of the Tema Oil Refinery(TOR) which had purchased a GLICO Group Compensation Plan for its staff.

Admitting that financial benefit could hardly replace the life of the deceased, Mr Edor said the compensation served as an encouragement to sustain the vision and dreams of the living dependants.

He said even people in the informal sector, such as those in Kantamanto and Agbogbloshie could purchase such life assurance covers to cover their losses in rainy days.
