
Inchaban(W/R), Aug 17, GNA — A 30-year old taxi driver, Stephen Asare, has been arrested by the Inchaban police for possessing narcotics without authority.
The police said Inspector Emmanuel Tetteh Odetsi was at the Inchaban Police barrier on August 13 and intercepted a taxi with dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
A passenger on board the taxi, George Kwesi Asafo, was also arrested while another passenger escaped.
Asare denied ownership of the substance and mentioned the escapee as the owner.
