Hearts of Oak head coach, Abubakar Ouattara, attributed their loss against Legon Cities to challenges in their preparations.

The Phobians endured a 2-0 defeat against The Royals at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu during Matchday 27.

Albert Yeboah secured the victory for Legon Cities with a brace in the second half, prompting disappointment among a section of Hearts of Oak fans.

Following the match, Ouattara engaged with some disgruntled supporters to address their concerns about the team's recent performance slump.

He urged patience and understanding, highlighting the limited resources at his disposal, stating, "These are the materials I have. I do not have any players anywhere else, so I have to work with them."

Ouattara's revelation about the team's pre-match conditions, including the lack of electricity and water at the hotel the day before the game, shed light on the challenges they faced even before kickoff.

“Yesterday at the hotel, we did not have electricity or water,” he disclosed.

With only three points gained from their last five games, Hearts of Oak now sit at 11th place in the standings with 35 points, five points clear of the relegation zone.
