Caught Between The Lines

A man ones told me

To kill the boy to unveil the man

In me as boys need to grow,

Take decisions and revere choices made...

I made choices, decisions and mistakes

And there is no turning back no matter the takes

For I cannot rewind the hands of time

And effect the necessary corrections of mine...

Forward I stroll in thorns

Yet on the mark I set my eyes revering my position

On the life's ladder as i pull away the thorns...

To those I hurt climbing up,I say sorry in my position

As no one is ever born without sin

In a gullible world where all men are fallible to pin...

Till my life's race is ran,

Compare me not to anyone in a pun

As we all are different in all things...

My leniency should not be taken as my weakness...

Show me a man without mistakes and weakness!

Chief of sinners though I be,

Let it be alone with me
