Dancing with My Shadow

Here I am, dancing with my shadow, under the moonlight.

I feel alive and not so alone, as I have my friend, my shadow..

to keep me company.
I love dancing with my shadow, and I like to see my shadow smiling at me.

It is as if we have known one another forever and in a big way, we have,

as my shadow has always been there for me, and I have been right beside it, all along.

My shadow is my best and closet pal in the whole world and when I am sad, it is sad and

when I am happy, it is happy.
The candor and beauty of dancing with my shadow will amaze many and some folks may think

that it is odd to dance with my shadow but they do not know my shadow the way that I do,

and we shall always dance under that bright moonlight and be the best of friends, no matter what come what may.

I will love my shadow from this day until there are no more dances left in this world to dance and until there are no more,

shadows left to dance with....
