The former Member of Parliament of Asikuma Odoben-Brakwa Constituency and an Anti-Corruption campaigner, Hon. P.C Appiah Ofori says he is not with the split of the Brong Ahafo into three regions.
He said the split of the Brong,Bono and Ahafo Regions into three does not necessarily bring development as has been trumpeted by some people in the country.
In an interview with the host of ‘Genesis in the Morning’ Alhassan Bin Jibril spelele on Genesis radio on Monday, Hon. Appiah Ofori said he is not happy with the split of Brong Ahafo Region because he thinks development will be stagnated in Bono East and Ahafo region.
He urged the government to walk the talk by providing the newly created regions with the necessary monies and development they deserve.
He said unless the government is put on its toes by the media to provide the seed money he promised during the declaration of the capitals, development of these newly created regions would be another waste of time and resources.
