The Paradox Of Time.......

‘’Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you have lost it , you can never get it back’’ Harvey Macklay. Time they say is precious, time they say is money, and then I also tell myself, this means that time is everything in this world as compared to people’s sayings. We all see time to be something that is far in the eyes of man but in reality it is one of the shortest things we can talk of.

Sometimes the eye deceives because when we see things in our minds eye, it looks so far to accomplish or achieve or in other sense the eye will tell us is too short or there is less time to start. When we are sometimes given a task and we try to look at the time, what we normally see is that there is either too much time to start or there is no time to start but all these falls under the deception of the eye. The truth in this life is that, it's never too late to start whatever you want to do likewise is never too early to start anything that you wish to accomplish.

Nonetheless, what always happens to most of us is that, we delay things because we use our minds eye to view time and perceive there is more time to waste or in order sense we perceive it that there is no time start, so we decide not to start at all and we never achieve it. I used myself as an example, the first day I step foot in the University, I asked myself an interesting question like, when am I going to complete this four year course. Looking at these four years with my mind's eye, I thought this four years will never come to pass.

Instead of me trying very hard to achieve what is needed of me ,I rather placed much emphasis on how these four years will come to past. I must confess the four years that I was always worried about took me by surprise and I again asked myself so this is how fast time can fly, Isn't it just yesterday I arrived in this school and all of a sudden I am done.

So we as people need not to always postpone things, because we think the time is enough or too short. Time will never be enough for anyone to do all the things that you wish to do and likewise time will never be too small for those that are determined to achieve whatever they wish and dream of achieving. Any time you foresee time to be too much within the next minutes , you find yourself wanting or the same way any time foresee it to be late to start something you will realize that it wasn’t late because others have started at the same time that you claim to be late and they have actually made it. It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you who is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of it.
