NPP Aspirant Appeals To Delegates

Mr Charles Ndanbon, an aspiring candidate seeking to annex the Upper East Regional Organiser position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has appealed to delegates to vote for him in the forthcoming Regional Elections.

The candidate aged 43 years was the former Assemblyman of Damolg-Tindongo and also the Nabdam NPP Constituency Organizer for the Nabdam Constituency in 2012.

Mr Ndanbon made the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Bolgatanga on Wednesday.

He recalled that during his tenure as constituency organizer, Mr Boniface Gambilla won the Member of Parliament (MP) seat for the Nabdam Constituency in 2012.

The aspirant said if the delegates gave him the nod come April, he would utilize his experience gained from the constituency level to ensure that the party (NPP) won more seats in the region and improve on its fortunes in the 2020 general elections.

He said as Organizer, he would work closely with the constituency executives in the region to visit all the polling stations to embark on membership drive to make the party popular.

Mr Ndanbon said the current three out of the 15 constituencies the NPP is holding in the region was not enough considering the party's portfolio in politics and stressed that, as a regional organizer, he would ensure that he engineers a vigorous campaign to win more seats in the region.
