Corruption Is Never The Appropriate Word for The Expatriate Issue

Feature Article Corruption Is Never The Appropriate Word for The Expatriate Issue
DEC 22, 2017 LISTEN

Let us do some Critcial thinking here.
Let it be even assumed that it is a truism that all the expatriate business men were charged for their sitting arrangement.

The question we should be asking are;
Can the said money be accounted for?
Were they given official receipts?
Will the money go into a personal or the ministry/government(public) account?

Who was the Organiser of the whole program?
Was the Organiser selected from a bad form of bidding method?

Is the Organiser worldly recognized for organising such programs?

I believe the answers to the above can educate us better if the act can be labelled as corruption or not.

Firstly, I have learnt the event was organized in collaboration with Millennium Excellence Foundation led by a leading NDC figure, Victor Gbeho.

Again, this is what I have deduced from other statements from the side of the NDC concerning this issue, of which I can not confirm either it is a truth or not, but since it is the only information I have from their side, may the public allow me to analyse with it until they change their stance.

I have read from them that the said money were paid to known accounts of the ministry, with official receipts issued out, which can be accounted for.

If the above statement is indeed true, then can anything with official receipts going into the official accounts of the ministry and govt be clarified as corruption?

I think the Hon. Ablakwa, the minority and the NDC have totally erred by labeling it corruption, may be another word for it to suit its exact description could have rather been laudable and acceptable for consideration by the public.

So the minority shd get another word for it and push, and after the public can ascertain again whether they have a genuine case or not?

Thank you
Hhhmm, may God be praised always
