Praying In One Accord

May it beknown to all, that churches can not have different names and tenets and claim to be unified. Our union can only be found in Jesus Christ One Saviour, One salvation, and One message. Such churches can also not claim to be all of them for the same Jesus Christ. Of course, the name of Jesus Christ can be used by such churches including the use of paraphernalia or images and symbols created after Constantine stormed and hijacked the true church of God to Rome.

All the sprinter churches have evolved from the giant Constantine's Roman establishment and through reformation and all that the history of the church tells about the Church. The seven Churches namely Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea (Rev.2-3) does represent the characteristic of the churches as from the time it was revealed to John on the island of Patmos. The Bible account and the revelation to John do show us that the separatist churches are on the wrong move. Get out of such division and separatism and recover to the layout by our founding apostles in Jesus Christ.

God showed these to us to take stock of what we claim today our churches to be part of the Body of Christ. I am not the one saying God is not happy with our current partitioned or division on many porous grounds other than the foundation Jesus Christ had laid. The Church is one in Christ Jesus and we must continue to steadfastly move on in one accord. Everything has to have Jesus Christ the High Priest and the Shepherd working through us His Church.

Matthew 18:19 Again, truly I say to you that if two of you are in harmony on earth concerning any matter for which they ask, it will be done for them from My Father who is in the heavens.

Acts 1:14 These all continued steadfastly with one accord in prayer...

The basic requirement for brothers and sisters to pray together is to be in one accord. In Matthew 18 the Lord tells us to be in harmony, that is, in one accord. The prayer in Acts 1 was also a prayer in one accord. Hence, the first condition for carrying out a prayer meeting, is to

have the one accord. No one should come to the prayer meeting with a different mind. If we want to have a prayer meeting, we must ask in one accord.

[Matthew 18:19] is a very strong word. In Greek, the word harmony refers to music. Consider three persons - one playing the piano, another playing the accordion, and the third playing the flute. When they play together and one plays out of tune, the sound will be very irritating. The Lord wants all of us to pray in harmony, not with different tunes. If we can be in harmony, then whatever we ask, God

will accomplish. Whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. The basic condition is to be in harmony. We must learn to be in harmony before God.

Brothers and Sisters, do not wait and tell the Lord Jesus Christ that you didn't know about it for people like us have been banging on what John wrote for men of righteous and the ear to hear from God. Maybe you are one who needs such salvation today through repenting and taking on the right format or foundation laid down by Jesus Christ. He won't have laid down His life and allow corrupt men to have their say oh know His Word is final and holy.
