Aflao Terror Arrested by Police

Listen to article

Aflao, Jan 12, GNA - Papa Azaglo, 32, a criminal at Aflao who stabbed a pregnant goat to death on Christmas Day last year and inflicted knife wounds on its owner, is in police grips. Mr Baba Moro, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in charge of Crime at Aflao, told the GNA that the suspect visited his girl friend at her home on Christmas Day.

While there Azaglo picked up a quarrel with one Mansa Galewoshie, a common carrier, who is his girl friend's co-tenant and called her prostitute.

Galewoshie retorted that she would never befriend a thief and this enraged Azaglo. He attempted to assault her but he was prevented from so doing by other tenants.

Azaglo left the house but returned and armed with a knife slashed Galewoshie with it from the neck, in-between the breasts and to the stomach.

Mr Moro said Azaglo then turned her anger on a pregnant goat belonging to Galewoshie and stabbed it to death.
