The Government Does Not See Our Health As A Priority

It amazes me why this government has developed "deaf and dump" syndrome on the challenges in our healthcare sector.

As a Health Journalists, there are so many health challenges I have gathered, which the government careless.

Yesterday, i saw a picture of community Nurses walking in a flood to access a community , they are going to do their outreach as part of their work .

Then I asked myself; can't there be snakes in that flood? what happens if one of these community Nurses fall into the flood and get drown? The only thing the government would do is to exhibit crocodile tears as if they care and pay GHC 100,000. to commiserate the bereaved family. I ask, can money buy human lives? It is a pity! Why is this government so wicked and careless.

The GHC 100,000 you give when a Nurse dies through flooding can be used to construct a foot bridge to save the lives of Millions. why are Ghana Leaders so sick and deficient in Proactiveness?

You sit comfortably in your offices under air conditions for the existing challenges to kill lives before acting right? Before splashing money, right? Is this your attitude different from Money rituals?

Your ignorance killed 2 Nurses, reasons : One of these late Nurses fell into the drain at circle , which you failed to ensure is been covered. You also failed to ensure construction of Big and closed Drains, especially at circle. Since that disaster, all Ghanaians and The Media are dumbfounded on the aftermath.

The drains at circle are still shallow and Opened, those the has been an improvement and ongoing positive activities at Odor River and its environs, but what prevents the constructor from constructing Closed Drains?

The government also failed to ensure proper monitoring and surpervision of Filling Stations. Ghanaians and Short memory,hmmmm. The Filling stations built in drains are still running their businesses ........

As I write now, Government have not paid salaries of Nurses and Doctors.Government owes arrears of Nurses and Doctors .what is wrong in Ghana now? Patients are suffering and dying because there are inadequate medical logistics and dumsor is also destroying medical equipment and endangering lives of patients.

Ghana Polices are psychologically sick and traumatized as some of them have been sacked from their apartments as government could not pay the rent fees, hence the owner has sold the house.

I ask, how can the police be Healthy to ensure security of this nation yet the government gets money to pay for "entertainment fees" of ministers and MPs.

This is weird. Nurses are left unemployed, yet we complain of Poor Nurse-Patients ratio. Nurse Trainees have been deceived by this government since 2012.

This government gave reasons that they are cancelling trainees' allowances to reduce fees and make it affordable to all. They also said the cancellation of the alallowances will help increase the number of admission intake,

I ask, has the government ensured all these convictions and reasons after cancelling the allowances?

This government has reduced the admission intake drasticall .This government has increased school fees drastically .

The awful unprecedented directives ever .Ministers of Health Stated "I am a man of my words" but failed to fulfil such assurance.

Do you expect anyone to trust this Mahama led government full of LIES?
