Odumasi-Adansi -- The Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Sampson Kwaku Boafo, has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win in all the 39 constituencies in the region in the December general election.
Mr Boafo was speaking at a mini-durbar of the chiefs and people of Odumasi-Adansi during a day's tour of eight communities in the Obuasi municipality.
The regional minister advised the people to desist from acts likely to disrupt the country's democratic dispensation.
“Please welcome all political parties to your communities and allow them to campaign freely. If you have time, listen to their messages and make your own decision,” he said.
On road projects in the area, Mr Boafo assured the people that work would resume within three weeks, adding that the projects had been taken away from the former contractors and awarded to new ones, hence the delay.
He assured the Sanso, Diawuoso, Mampamhwe and Ayease communities of providing them with potable water but said those projects could only be started in January next year.
