Harare (AFP) - Zimbabwe's one time presidential hopeful Joice Mujuru has been sacked as vice president after a public falling out with Robert Mugabe, a government source told AFP on Tuesday.

"The VP has been fired. She was informed last night. A statement is being prepared as we speak," said the person, who asked not to be identified.
