Chris Brown's Weed Smoking: Tourism Minister Must Explain
08.03.2013 LISTEN

I read with horror that Chris Brown came to Ghana and smoked wee in the full glare of the Ghanaian public and security personnel and walked away scott free ! How impudent ! How shameful ! What happened to the rule of law in Ghana ?

This is an effrontery to Ghana and Africa as a whole and the minister of tourism must explain or be dismissed forthwith!

Any foreigner, no matter their status, who comes to Ghana must respect our laws or be locked up in jail and be deported. They have taken us for granted for too long and it is time we show them that our hospitality is not foolishness or weakness.

No matter our problems, Ghana is the only place we have and we cannot make another country our own. Therefore we need to be proud of Ghana, and make foreigners respect our laws and not take us for fools. Even our own neighbours from Nigeria think we are stupid.

Their false prophets and pastors are all over Ghana establishing fake churches and fleecing our poor people of their money. Some of them are sleeping with other men's wives and these stupid women think they are sleeping with " holy men of God," but God never commanded anyone to sleep with someone's wife.

Some of our women are so gullible and stupid, but that does not exonerate these fake pastors and prophets from Nigeria.

We also have many scammers from Nigeria operating their nefarious activities in our midst, sometimes with the connivance of Ghanaians. We need to round them up and send them to Nsawam with hard labour, and deport them after their sentences.

Foreigners who are here to practice homosexuality and engage our children in abnormal sexual behaviour must be rounded up, undergo some treatment at Nsawam and be deported. It is time the ministers of interior and tourism wake up to their responsibilities and fish out those foreigners who think we are stupid and show them where power lies.

Business people who are indulging in money laundering, drugs and other economic crimes must be rounded up and taken to Nsawam. It is time to check the uncontrollable influx of foreigners into businesses reserved for Ghanaians, and also deal with foreigners who think we are a nation of fools.

No foreigner is above the laws of the land and henceforth we must be diligent and make sure any foreigner in our country respects our laws or goes to Nsawam for treatment and for deportation.
