Missodey charges Hotsteel FC to aim high

December 08, 2010 Accra, Dec. 8, GNA - The Volta Regional Sports Development Officer, Gabriel Yao Missodey has tasked the management of Hotsteel Football Club to work hard to gain promotion to the elite division in the not too distant future.

Missodey said the Ho-based Second Division outfit remains the Region's best hope of laying claim for another Club in the Premier division after Kpando Heart of Lions' feat.

The Regional Sports Development Officer who said these during a courtesy call on the management and playing body of the Club at Ho, also advised the team to remain disciplined, devoted and committed to the cause of achieving successes.

Missodey also urged the management to work tirelessly to ensure that the Club remains a strong force in the Region whilst appealing to corporate bodies within and around the Ho Municipality as well as the region to support the Club grow.

Dickson Kofi Akotia, head coach of the Club commended the Regional Sports Development Officer for the visit and assured that they will put their efforts to good use to project the Club to qualify to the elite division of Ghana football.

Hotsteel Football Club, which was founded in 2003 is currently participating in the Volta Regional Second Division League.
