Dear Editor,
There should be no way for Obasanjo's tactics in Ghana. It's an open secret that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government intends to rig the forthcoming general elections in 2008.

It is also known that in the event of any disturbance, the NPP is going to redeploy the so-called party Police in Yellow-Black uniform to during the elections and would also be used to intimidate voters.

The NPP's rigging machine will be set in motion using the party police and Lord Commey's action troopers to disrupt the election and whisk away the ballot boxes and replace them with stuffed ones.

The NPP government should be advised not to go the Nigerian way of rigging the elections because Ghana is not Nigeria.

Apart from that, the majority of the youth of this country will fiercely resist any such attempt at rigging the elections.

We will urge on the Asomdweehene, Prof. J. E. Atta Mills to be brave and continue to preach the good and wise words to the people of Ghana without fear, for at end of the day, victory will be yours.

May God Bless You, Prof.

Kwaku Amoateng
Manhyia, Kumasi.
