The Bokoro Hospital in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region remains unfinished and non-operational despite being unveiled by the previous administration as part of the Agenda 111 hospital initiative.
Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has revealed that the government needs approximately $9 million to complete the facility.
During a working visit to the hospital site on Monday, the minister assessed the project's status, addressing concerns over claims by the former Nana Akufo-Addo administration that the hospital was ready for use.
Bokoro Hospital is not the only stalled project under the Agenda 111 initiative.
Similar delays have affected the Trede and Oforikrom hospitals, which also remain non-operational.
