The National Chairman of the CPP, Dr. Kwame Delle has asked Dr. Sekou Nkrumah to reconsider his decision to join the NDC and join the CPP, his father's party and help build it with his expertise.
He said that he had not seen the full statement of the late Kwame Nkrumah's son but said that he heard it in the news and it is rather unfortunate as it is times like this that the CPP needs leaders like Dr. Sekou and it is not for him to build some other persons party.
Dr Dele said this at an interview with the Ghanaian Voice newspaper in response that Dr. Sekou Nkrumah would soon be joining the NDC.
The CPP leader said that one can make a decision and rescind it so it was not too late for him to change his mind.
Dr. Delle then suggested that instead of Dr. Nkrumah joining another party, he should join his father's party in order for them to together solve the problems of the CPP.
He further said that Dr Nkrumah should join the CPP in order for them to take Presidency from the NPP government.
The CPP leader said that Dr Nkrumah should also join the CPP in order for them to improve ion what his father started, which the party now calls the Nkrumah miracle.
It was the Ghanaian Observer that published the report that Kwame Nkrumah's son, Dr Sekou Nkrumah is to join the NDC.
