Mrs. Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nkoranza South Constituency who doubles as the Executive Director for Amea Foundation Ghana awarded candidates who excelled in the 2023 BECE with an aggregate 6 to 12 in the just ended 67th Independence Day Celebration at Nkoranza South.

Among the awardees was a physically challenged girl called Emmanuella Serwaa Bossman who was born with no legs and hands, but writes with her mouth. She graduated from the Nation Builders International School with aggregate 17.

Delivering her speech, Mrs. Oppong called on the students of Nkoranza Municipality to take their studies very seriously in order to be successful and uplift the image of Nkoranzaman.

She added that with determination, hard work and commitment, the sky will be their limit. She urged the students present at the ceremony to take inspiration from Emmanuella’s achievement.

According to her, they would have no excuse if they failed to excel in their academic endeavours since Emmanuella did not allow herself to be limited by her limbless condition.

Mrs. Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong promised that the award ceremony would be held annually and would be extended to teachers who work tirelessly to see their students graduate with flying colors.

She assured the gathering that she will continue to do her best to help improve teaching and learning in the municipality.
