There was drama on Lucky TV morning show Friday morning when Amadu Torick of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) accused the Central Regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Robert Kutin jnr of corruption allegations in connection with the school feeding program.

According to the NDC Communicator, caterers in the region have expressed dissatisfaction at the attitude of the embattled Regional chairman as he is alleged to have pocketed monies meant to pay the aggrieved caterers.

"No wonder some Women Organisers of the NPP are calling for the head of chairman Kutin. He has absconded with monies meant to cook food for school children. Party members are advocating for his removal from office and replace him with the 'ideal' man because chairman Kutin has failed," he narrated.

Ellis Otabil, the Effutu constituency Communications Director has defended chairman Kutin of any corruption allegations as there is nothing to prove the said allegations.

Effutu Ellis as he is affectionately called, empahsised that chairman Kuntin is being booted out not because of any corruption allegations but his ineptness as a Chairman of the NPP in the region.

"His vindictiveness and harassment of party people lead to the aparthy which resulted in the party losing 9 seats to the NDC in the 2020 elections," Ellis Otabil stressed.

The NPP's Central Regional Executives' elections has been tight as many party executives and members in the region are yearning for the Founder and Director of Ideal College, Dr. Joseph Kobina Essibu to be the next chairman.
