Scrapping of ministries: Nana Akufo-Addo has shown he has his priorities right—NPP Germany

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is alleged to have taken the path of scrapping some of the special ministries he set up in his first term and assign their further operations to other ministries.

This is not shocking at all but as usual, the NDC has unleashed the sharp teeth team members to rain insults and create chaos around the situation.

It is known to every Ghanaian that some of these ministries were set up to carry out special assignments. Such were the Special Initiatives Ministry, Ministry for Zongo Development among others. The role of these ministries was to make sure the set up of the intended plans are put in place. And these ministries have done justice to their roles.

For NDC communicators like Felix Ofosu Kwakye to try and damage the effort of the President is ridiculous. He may be ignorant of the fact that the objective is not to entirely wipe off the role of these ministries but rather to assign their roles to other larger ministries and some to operate from the presidency as special offices.

The NDC always finds something wrong with everything so far as it comes from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP but the President remains committed to serving the interest of Ghanaians. They can continue to take the path of hatred and dislike for the many innovative and pragmatic ideas of the government, as long as we have the mandate and support of the citizens of the republic, the government shall function to the betterment of our dear nation.
