The Makola market in Accra came to a standstill on Wednesday when the Running Mate of the National Democratic Congress, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang paid an unannounced visit.
Thousands of traders and shoppers followed to catch a glimpse of her as she toured the market.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang was grateful for the support and asked for their votes for the NDC and the former President John Mahama come December 7.
She reiterated her party’s commitment to improving the lives of traders through pragmatic policies that are detailed in the People’s Manifesto by the NDC.
Market leaders expressed gratitude to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and wished her success in becoming Ghana’s first female Vice President to inspire young women in Ghana.
The Running Mate continues her Greater Accra tour with such crowds expected in many areas.
