NDC Struggling To Survive From Their Political Dumsor

The entire political machinery of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been deployed to pour insults and tarnish the country image in the eyes of the Ghanaian people and to the world at large in order to stay politically relevant. It is quite interesting to know that for the past 3 months, the only things that NDC has vehemently spoken about are contingency issues such as voter registration and COVID-19.

There has never been any alternative to what has been brought to the table by the NPP administration led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Madam Ama Benyiwa Doe among other top officials of the opposition such as Asiedu Nketiah and Sammy Gyamfi have tried to sway the people of Ghana from the daunting war against the Covid19 pandemic. Their comments in the airwaves have been politically blinded and directed by ill intentions.

They claim the measures put in place by the government to restrict lives in order to be able to trace, test, and treat infected persons within the country is a mere ploy by the government to silent the opposition and its leadership from campaigning for votes. This is the very reason why they have been non-corporative in this fight.

To the NDC, the only desire top of their list is to grab power. The lives at stake mean less and an economy to revive which is facing a never seen before challenges mean nothing to them. The President in his address on Sunday warned the country of the danger we face if this issue is politicized.

He has assured Ghanaians of his resolve to be resilient in the fight against Covid19. He added that energies should not be wasted begrudging political actors who have been painting the government as a failure even though it is doing very well globally because it is their only means to survive as politicians, they have no better alternative to offer. To them, everything is about John Mahama winning.

This is a war, not your conventional war but a war with an unseen enemy bent on creating havoc and kills as many as possible, but we are strong and resolute in confronting it and annihilate it.

Maybe the chequered flag is not in sight now but we are bending the curve and Ghana will come out of this situation Great and Strong.
