Twifo Praso (C/R) Nov. 4 GNA - Twifo United fought from a goal down to spank Assin Andoe Young Etsi Stars 4-1 in the Central Region Division Two mid-week league match played at Twifo Praso on Wednesday. Ironically it was Young Etsi Stars who from the blast of the whistle took control of the match and scored the opener through outside right, Isaac Forson in the 25th minute and hanged on it till the end of the first half.
Twifo United resumed the second half with an all attacking game and went ahead to level up the scores through midfielder, John Afful in the 55th minute.
Etsi Stars hope of carrying the day were shattered when United forced the tide in their favour and banged in three rapid goals through Kenneth Abubakar, Stephen Darko and Samuel Kobinah in the 65th, 68th and 70th minutes respectively to seal the doom of the visitors. Results of other matches were, Obonoma F/C drew goalless with Mfantsiman United with Assin Dompim Ahofra Royals beating Denkyira Akropong Benburto F/C 2-0.
