Asante Kotoko continued their dominance over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium as they pipped the Phobians 1-0 on match day 10 of the 2016 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are without a win against Kotoko in six seasons. The results also means that, Hearts of Oak have gone three games at home without a win and their second home defeat of the ongoing campaign.

A rare error on the part of Soulama Abdoulaye cost the Phobians on the day after he failed to handle Richard Akrofi's harmless back pass.

A game that saw a lot of media hype lived to the billing as both sides went straight into action firing from all angles but it was Kotoko who were destined to score as Dauda Mohammed kept Hearts of Oak defence busy.

The Phobians also initiated an attack of their own as Isaac Mensah lifted the ball onto the path of onrushing Samuel Yeboah but he shot wide.
