Kumasi Asante Kotoko returnee Rashid Sumaila says he is not happy because of the delay in the start of the Ghana Premier League.

The ex-Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa player said his prime wish and prayer is for the league to start soon.

According to him, he returned to Kumasi Asante Kotoko with the sole intention of playing regular football to enhance his career.

Sadly however, issues which he has no control over have halted the commencement of the Ghana league, he lamented.

The Kotoko defender disclosed on radio that the delay in the commencement of the league was affecting his career, adding that he and his colleagues have been training lately but there are no league games for them to properly assess their progress.

The intelligent player prayed that all issued that are preventing the start of the league would be rectified soon, as he is anxious to showcase his talent to Kotoko fans.
