Cause The Permanent Appointment Of IGF Staff At Public Hospitals

His Excellency, I am highly elated with how you have dealt with this pandemic. You have truly demonstrated that you are a true leader.

But there is something I would like to put across to you regarding the directives you gave touching on the health workers.

From my closest observations, I think there are some of the health workers who are not being taken care of in these critical times.

They are casual workers or the non-mechanized staff in our various healthcare institutions.

All the packages you have outlined do not cover them because they are not on Government's payroll but they play critical roles at the health facilities to bridge the staff shortage gaps.

Without them, Mr. President, the chain of ensuring effective Healthcare delivery cannot be achieved.

This non-mechanized staff is paid from the health facilities' IGF mostly ruining the little amount needed to purchase consumables and drugs for treatment.

His Excellency, for these IGF staff to also benefit from putting their lives in danger at the frontlines of this pandemic, I suggest that you kindly give a directive regarding their mechanization on CAGD payroll to enable them also benefit from your leadership in saving lives by fighting this deadly virus.

I know you are a listening leader and I know you will act on this with all the quickest consideration it deserves.
