Jumia is offering customers jaw dropping discounts up to 70percent on all items on their 6year anniversary celebration from 16th to 29th July this year.
Speaking at a news conference in Accra, the Managing Director for Jumia Ghana, Mr. Ore Odusanya said there are over 40,000 items on their platform.
He noted that customers who shop during the anniversary period will enjoy good discounts on purchases up to 70percent in all categories.
Mr. Odusanya added the company offers quality products ranging from phones, electronics, computers, fashion, home appliances and many more.
According to him, two lucky customers will walk home with a brand new Renault car after downloading the Opera news app during the celebration.
He indicated that the company has rolled out a raffle called “Warehouse Run” which will offer selected customers the opportunity to run and pick any item in their warehouse within 60secs.
As the 8 most visited website in Ghana with 3million visitors a month, Mr. Odusanya noted that the company has positioned itself as the leading e-commerce brand that uses technology to improve the daily life of Ghanaians, grow SMEs and create sustainable impact by creating jobs.
The MD pointed out that the unique identity of Jumia is the fact they help customers to save time, money, make more choices conveniently.
He said what makes them stand tall among their peers, apart from the unbeatable prices, is their pay on delivery service which is usually done within 24hours in Accra and 3-5days in other regions.
According to him, their 7day return policy gives customers the opportunity to return their item once they identify any genuine fault.
He further urged customers to take advantage of their Flash Sales to win products at half or lower price daily and continuously for 10days from Mondays to Fridays.
Mr. Odusanya posited that the offer for this year’s anniversary celebration will be bigger than Black Friday which is usually held from November to December.
He emphasized that customers will enjoy quality products at ridiculously cheap prices that ordinarily may not find on the market.
