Egypt midfielder Shikabala should be available for selection in this month's 2014 World Cup playoff first leg tie against Ghana after his ankle injury was downplayed by the technical team.
The Zamalek star twisted his ankle in the Pharaohs' 2-0 win on Monday over Uganda and missed the second match on Wednesday.
But Egypt assistant coach Diaa Al-Sayed explained the playmaker was only rested as a precautionary measure.
“There are no injuries at all in our camp. Shikabala and everyone else is OK,” Al-Sayed told Al-Hayat TV after the friendly win over Uganda.
Egypt will play Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium on 15 October.
