Statement Of Condolence From The STBHF

We have learnt with deep sorrow the sad demise of Pope Benedict XVI. He passed away on December 31, 2022. He was 95.

Pope Benedict XVI lived an exemplary life, peaceful and a pure soul. It is indeed an irreparable loss of a blessed man who gave so much for the sake of his religion and in the service of humanity.

In this hour of grief, we extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to members of the Catholic Church, the Vatican and all Christians for this great loss.

We ask Almighty God, the All-Powerful, to bless the deceased with the vastness of His mercy.
