Greater Accra Women Soccer Association (GASOWC) has set Sunday, January 19 when defending champions, Ghatel Ladies will meet Post Ladies to determine who is who in the women club soccer in the country.

The encounter has seen many postponements due to the preparations of the Black Queens towards their just ended biannual African Women Soccer Championship in Warri, Nigeria where the Queens picked the silver.

The Queens are mainly drawn from Ghatel Ladies who boast of seven players and Post Ladies who have four of their stars in Queen's set up.

The encounter is expected to be very tough judging from the strength of the two teams. Ghatel Ladies who are regarded as the heavy weights of women soccer in Ghana, are the league champions as well as the Gala and FA lords.

Having the highest number of their members in the national team, Ghatel Ladies are heavily tipped whip Poast Ladies and this is exactly what their team manager, Joseph Ayittey has sworn to do.

"We have what it takes to lift the cup and the team is not ready to allow anything stand between it and the cup' he said.

He conceded that Post Ladies would be a tough customer, but he was optimistic that his side would win.

With a successful transfer of the ace goalkeeper, Memunatu Sulemana of the Black Queens fame from Mawuna Ladies to Post Ladies, Ghatel Ladies would have to find how to beat this goalkeeper who is expected to stand firm and prevent any ball from entering her net.
