Offer spiritual sacrifices

Read this and come with me.

Hebrew 13:15. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

V.15 is a continuation of vv. 8-14. And in v.14 the writer of this book considered himself and us the reader's believers real river crossing Hebrews, like the Patriarchs ( 11:9 - 10; 13 - 16).

DISCIPLES, in the church life we enjoy the unchanging Christ as grace and follow Him outside religion, so should offer through Him spiritual sacrifices to God.

First, in the Church, we should (been asked) offer up through Him a sacrifice of praise to God continually. In the church, He sings in us hymns of praise unto God the FATHER (2:12).

In the church, we too should praise God the FATHER through Jesus Christ. Eventually, in the church He and we, we and He, praise the FATHER together in the mingled or intimate intertwined spirit. Our worship is not and should not be selfish or self GLORIFYING or seeking. It's not about us but worshipping the FATHER with Jesus Christ together as SPIRIT filled people.

Jesus Christ, as the life-giving SPIRIT, praises the FATHER in our spirit, and we, by our (take note here) spirit, praise the FATHER in His Spirit.

When we (church) worship the FATHER out of our flesh but in spirit. This, then, is the expression of the best and highest sacrifice that we can offer to God through Jesus Christ.

THIS IS GREATLY NEEDED IN OUR CHURCH MEETINGS.

Not, when in our filth come to offer such sacrifices. Or, when, we are offering such worship/sacrifices comes from our fornication and other smelly sins.

LET US EXAMINE OURSELVES BEFORE COMING TO WORSHIP OR OFFER OUR SACRIFICES.

OTHERWISE, IT'S BETTER WE COME TO SEEK FORGIVENESS FROM HIM BEFORE OUR OFFERINGS.
