Hearts of Oak will play their remaining home matches of the 2025/26 season at the Accra Sports Stadium, following a directive from the Ghana Football Association.
The move comes amid ongoing redevelopment works at the University of Ghana Stadium, which had served as the club’s temporary home since November 2025.
The Phobians initially enjoyed a bright start at the UG venue, securing victories in their first three matches. However, momentum stalled thereafter, with Didi Dramani and his side recording four consecutive goalless draws.
Hearts are scheduled to play five of their remaining eight fixtures at home, with the rest on the road, as the campaign enters its decisive phase.
Currently fourth in the standings, the Rainbow Club sit six points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
- What next?
Following a frustrating stalemate against Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak will be aiming to bounce back when they host Swedru All Black Stars on Matchday 27 this weekend.
