Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has revealed that his team plans to target the weaknesses of Hearts of Oak ahead of this weekend’s Super Clash.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday for the Matchday 9 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, with both sides undefeated in the campaign so far, raising the stakes for the showdown.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Zito commented: "Hearts of Oak and Kotoko, everybody knows how the game is, it’s one of the best and one of the biggest games between the two.
“So everybody wants to win, just as we are going there with the mindset of winning, so it’s like you plan against the best side of your opponent and then capitalise on their weaker side, and so this is what we are doing in short to meet Hearts of Oak.”
The eagerly awaited clash is scheduled for a 16:00 GMT kickoff.
