
Management of Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert, popularly known as the French School, the only French and bilingual accredited international school in Ghana, has this week announced Saturday 10th February 2018 as an open day to host members of the general public.
Scheduled to start from 9am and end at 12noon, the three hour event will provide guests on the day with an opportunity to inspect the school’s facilities through a special guided tour of the school. There will also be interaction sessions with the trained and experienced teachers and other professional staff on several subjects of interest.
In addition, guests will also experience the multicultural student population and environment the school provides plus a presentation on the school’s curriculum which is centered on developing strong analytical skills, oral communication, autonomy, sense of organization and reasoning.
Commenting on the event, Mr. David Ballieu, the Principal of Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert expressed the school readiness to host the expected thousands of people to attend the open day.
“It’s another great opportunity to host members of the general public and share with them our tireless effort at making sure we create a great future for our students and the future leaders. Our focus is to give the very best to our students in a multicultural setup. Apart from English, French, Spanish we also teach our students local languages including Twi in addition to mathematics, arts, history, sports, economy and more to provide them with a solid foundation”, Mr. Ballieu added.
Lycée Français Jacques Prévert, established under the French Ministry of Education more than 50 years ago is a non-profit educational institute that admits students from Nursery to Senior High School and located at East Legon, next to GT- bank or Miklin hotel.
