Rev. Dr. Francis Ohene Agyekum, the Chairman of the Welfare Committee of Assemblies of God Pastors in Sunyani, has condemned the showing of pornographic films on some television stations in Ghana.
He says the act is against the custom and culture of the country which should not be tolerated.
Rev. Dr. Agyekum said this in an exclusive interview with Space FM after two broadcasters petitioned National Media Commission against three television stations including TV XYZ, Ice TV and thunder TV for showing porn scenes for quite some time now.
He asked the authorities to call the stations to order and possibly sanction them
Dr. Agyekum cautioned against the indiscriminate propagation of idol worship on some radio and television stations in the country which is undermining the integrity of Christianity.
He conceded even though they have their own finances to establish the stations but they are not in isolation because the stations are for public consumption.
