– John Mahama has “finally” erected a building at his hometown of Bole
– Earlier, residents of the area had argued that the former president didn’t have the area at heart
– The building, a supposed multi-million cedi edifice, has reportedly become a tourist attraction
GhanaNewsPage.Com has learnt that former president John Dramani Mahama has built a magnificent edifice at his hometown of Bole in the Northern Region of Ghana.
According to media reports, the multi-million cedi building has become the talk of town in the Bole area.

Earlier, residents of the area had heavily criticized the former president for not putting up a house in Bole.
According to them, it was saddening that the former president had to stay at the Cocoa Research Institute Guest House in Bole anytime he visited the area.
A report by MyNewsGH.com states that the “criticism from the residents” might have forced John Mahama to erect the building “though he might never live in the edifice”.
According to one Mahama Haruna, the General Manager of the Bole-based Nkilgi FM, the hearts of the residents were now calmed.

“Not even explanations that former President Mahama’s father, the late E. A Mahama who was the first Member of Parliament and the first government Minister had a house in Bole would let the people stop assuming he didn’t have Bole at heart”, Mr Haruna said.
The house, according to reports, has become a tourist attraction as many locals throng the area to catch a glimpse of the house despite being well protected.
