Amasaman (GAR), Jan. 15, GNA - Roka International School, a first cycle institution at Fise near Amasaman in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region, has inaugurated boarding facilities to accommodate students from far and near.
Madam Kissiwah Osei, Proprietress of the school, who told Ghana News Agency at Amasaman on Friday, said the institution had also constructed a modern computer and science laboratory and a library.
Madam Osei said the huge investment in infrastructure was to ensure that Roka International became one of the best schools in the Greater Accra Region.
She said the school aims at producing students, who would advance to highest in their educational career.
The Proprietress said the school, which started at Fise in a garage, now could boast of a crèche, primary and Junior High School departments and that plans were far advanced to begin putting up a Senior High School (SHS) department.
Madam Osei said all 14 students of the school, who sat for the last year's Basic Education Certificate Examination had aggregate six and gained admission to Senior High Schools.
She advised parents and guardians to show keen interest in the education of their children and wards and to invest in it.
The school last month celebrated its 10th anniversary under the theme: "Ten years of quality education, the role of Roka'.
