On the sidelines of the Ghana CSO Forum 2026, the Ghana Offline Community successfully hosted a structured networking session dubbed CSO Connect 2026, bringing together civil society actors for collaboration and partnership building.

The event attracted over 150 participants, including representatives from civil society organizations, youth-led groups, and development practitioners attending the annual forum. The Ghana CSO Forum is a key national platform that convenes civil society stakeholders to reflect on development issues, strengthen partnerships, and promote collective action.

CSO Connect 2026 was designed as a fast-paced, structured networking session aimed at helping participants move beyond general interactions to intentional engagement, where organizations could introduce their work, identify shared goals, and explore collaboration opportunities.

Participants engaged in guided networking activities that enabled them to exchange contacts, present their organizational focus areas, and identify potential partnerships across sectors such as governance, education, health, youth development, and advocacy.

Many attendees expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful in improving the quality of engagement at the forum. They noted that the structured format made it easier to connect with relevant organizations within a short period.

Speaking after the session, the President of Ghana Offline Community, Inusah Abdul Fataw, said, “CSO Connect 2026 was created to solve a simple but important challenge, how do we make networking more intentional and results-driven. Seeing over 150 participants actively engage, even on short notice, shows that there is a real demand for structured collaboration spaces within the civil society ecosystem.”

He added that the strong participation reflects the growing need for platforms that move beyond conversations to actionable partnerships among CSOs and youth groups.

The Ghana Offline Community, based in Tamale with over 800 members and four years of active community engagement, continues to focus on fostering offline connections, civic participation, and youth-driven collaboration. CSO Connect 2026 is expected to serve as a model for future engagement spaces aimed at strengthening partnerships and improving coordination within Ghana’s civil society sector.
