A suspected thief was subjected to public humiliation and punishment by residents of a community after allegedly engaging in repeated theft.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect had been accused of stealing from several residents on multiple occasions, sparking anger and frustration among community members who claimed they had become fed up with his alleged actions.
As punishment, the suspect was reportedly forced to carry heavy pieces of wood through the community while some residents caned him. Videos and photographs circulating on social media captured the suspect struggling under the weight of the logs as a crowd followed him through the streets.
Residents who witnessed the incident said the action was intended to serve as a warning to the suspect and deter others from engaging in similar criminal activities within the area.
