“You really live through a lie…a big lie!” shouted Susanne Fröhlich in disbelief. “Some women can be so cruel…so, so evil, it is unimaginable.”

“You should not interrupt him,” Franz Kleve said angrily, getting up to put the last dry branches into the fire.

“The devil is a liar…as we all know. He uses people, misuses them and when the job is done, abandons them…trash in the gutter. God is the truth and allows the devil’s work for a while. When he thinks enough is enough he rescues the righteous from the hands of the evil to lift the chosen one. No problem with what Emma Heerde did to me. It has lifted me and crushed her…sent her away into the desert of life. While I enjoy the best days of my life with the most wonderful woman by my side…what else can I expect of life? I had it all. I saw it all. And if I should die the next moment I have no regrets and would rest in peace with happiness in my heart and soul. No evil forces can make my life miserable anymore. Emma Heerde knows that when someone finds out about her past the seed of romance will never blossom. She is forever much, much worse off.

But certainly she is relieved, her son is an autist who might never wonder and ask why his father carries a different name having the same family name as I.

When you pray to the devil and ask him to give you a better life like a residence permit in Germany he will give it to you in exchange for your soul. Remember when Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil for forty days…yet, he resisted and God knew it was his son. My humble life was the same. Judas had the money from the Romans and it ended tragically. No, I pity her…but…she was free to choose her destiny. She decided on the wrong side of the coin. Me…a man often pronounced dead or wishing him to be dead…am more alive than ever. Writing and publishing my words have already made me last for much longer.”

Susanne Fröhlich interrupted again:” But now I or better…we want to hear more about the devil in your bed.”

“Well then…let's continue,” I saw them all lying in the grass again. “The mistake I made previously was when Emma Heerde had factually and unlawfully looked me up. I immediately should have told the landlord that I would cancel the contract for her to be his only tenant. This blame is certainly on me. As to why Emma Heerde did not use the company to generate income for herself or ask her new boyfriend or the father of her child for financial support or go to the Social Security office asking for help…will be a mystery for all time. To think after all she had done to me that I would still cooperate with her…come on be serious…that is madness. Anyway, it was agreed that my best man Derek Bull would collect everything which was mine in the apartment to store in the warehouse two days before it was cancelled.

Where my furniture ended up and what happened to my documents, especially my book manuscripts I don't know. At first, I was shocked and furious. Shortly after I was very relaxed as most documents were not important to me for a future life. The books? I laugh when I imagine them. God told me he would give me the strength to write them all over again. From thirteen destroyed manuscripts nine are already back and published never to get lost again. The destruction challenged me to not only write them again but better…much better. I can proudly say that they got somehow destroyed and have helped me as an author a lot. For that, I give her credit and praise her name. The only good thing Emma Heerde did in my life.

While I was in Ghana in the early days after my arrival Emma Heerde
